What is local SEO?

The difference between being found and being forgotten.

When someone in Vancouver searches "auto shop near me" or "Vancouver WA dentist," Google decides which local businesses to show them. Local SEO is the work of making sure your business shows up at the top of those results in the Google Map Pack, in local search listings, and on Google Maps itself.

Unlike traditional SEO, local SEO is hyper-focused on your physical service area. It's about being the obvious choice for customers in your neighborhood, not competing with national brands. For Vancouver businesses, this is where the most valuable customers come from and where the right strategy can completely transform your business.

Our approach

A complete local SEO strategy.

Six pillars that work together to make your business the obvious local choice.

01

Google Business Profile

Complete optimization of your GBP listing: categories, services, photos, posts, and Q&A, so Google understands exactly who you are.

02

Local citations

Consistent NAP (name, address, phone) across 50+ local directories: Yelp, BBB, industry-specific sites that build trust with Google.

03

Review strategy

Systems to earn more 5-star reviews from happy customers, plus thoughtful response strategies for every review you receive.

04

Location pages

Custom pages targeting each neighborhood and service combination you want to rank for — Cascade Park, Hazel Dell, Felida, and beyond.

05

On-page local SEO

Schema markup, geo-targeted content, optimized title tags, and internal linking that signals local relevance to search engines.

06

Tracking & reporting

Monthly reports showing your map pack rankings, GBP insights, calls, and direction requests — plus what we're doing next.

What you get

Four things that move local rankings.

Not forty. Local search rewards a short list done relentlessly — which is most of why it works, and most of why agencies who spread themselves thin don’t.

  • 01

    Google Business Profile, actively managed

Categories, service lists, service areas, photos, Q&A, and weekly posts. This is the highest-leverage asset in local search and the one almost every business sets up once and never touches again. Most of the map pack movement in your first 90 days comes from here.

  • 02

A real page for every service and city

One page per service, per area you actually cover, written for the person searching rather than stuffed for a crawler. This is how you rank in the next town over without opening an office there — and it's the work most agencies skip because it takes longest.

  • 03

A review engine that runs without you

A steady flow of new reviews and a reply to every one, good or bad. Rankings aside, review count and recency decide whether someone taps your listing or the one below it — which means reviews affect your calls even on the days your ranking doesn't move.

  • 04

    The technical work nobody advertises

Crawlability, schema, mobile behavior, Core Web Vitals, and load time. Unglamorous, invisible in a report, and the reason a well-written page either ranks or sits on page three doing nothing.

The honest timeline

SEO isn’t a sprint. Here’s when things actually happen.

Any agency promising page one in thirty days is either lying or about to do something that gets your domain penalized. This is the real shape of a local campaign, and the reason most owners quit one month before it works.

Month 1

Audit and quick wins

Technical audit, Google Business Profile overhaul, citation cleanup. Some clients see movement inside thirty days — almost always from fixing something that was actively hurting them.

Months 2–3

Foundation goes live

Service and city pages published, on-page work rolled out sitewide, review engine switched on. Your first plain-English monthly report lands.

Months 3–6

Rankings and calls climb

Measurable improvement in map pack position and organic traffic. This is where owners start hearing “I found you on Google” on the phone.

Months 6–12

It compounds

Significant, durable results. The authority built in these months keeps paying out long after — which is exactly what makes quitting at month five so expensive.

We’re called Endurance because we’re still answering the phone in month six.

Talk through your timeline

Before you book

Fair questions.

How soon will I see results?

Some clients see movement within the first 30 days, usually from fixing something broken. Measurable improvement typically lands in months 3 to 6, and significant, durable results in months 6 to 12. If someone quotes you faster than that, ask exactly what they'd be doing to get there — the honest answers to that question are all things that stop working or get you penalized.

What does it cost?

Plans start at $500 a month. Where you land depends on how many services and how many areas you're competing for — a single-location shop and a five-city contractor are genuinely different amounts of work. You'll get a number on the first call, not after three rounds of discovery.

What if I’ve been burned by an agency before?

Most of our clients had been. Bring the old reports to the call. We'll read them with you and tell you plainly what was actually done, what was billed but never delivered, and what's still salvageable. That part is free whether or not you hire us — and it's usually the most useful half hour an owner in that situation has had in a year.

Will I be working with the person doing the work?

Yes. We're deliberately small. At most agencies, the person who sells you the strategy isn't the person executing it, and the gap between those two people is where campaigns quietly fall apart around month four. You'll have one point of contact who knows your account.

What do you need from me?

Access to your website and Google Business Profile, and roughly an hour a month. You know your customers far better than we ever will, so the material that makes your pages actually convert usually comes from you. Our job is making sure it gets found.
